The Prodigal Returns...

Our friend Jeff of Ponytailed Conservative (no link, Harvey will explain) has been MIA for quite some time and apart from being worried about him, things just haven't been the same around here.

Well...good news....he's surfaced over at Harvey's place so make sure you go over there and wish him well!

"Prodigal"? Wasn't he the ne'er-do-well son that wandered off for no good reason, yet still got rewarded upon his return? ;)

Thanks for the post, Pam, and especially thanks for the funny email. Made me laugh, and that's real good for me right now!

So... anyone feeling up to registering ponytailedconservative.blogspot.com and handing Mr. Pancreas the keys :-)

Heh! So I have a crazy blogDad and blogSis. Life goes on. ;)

Seriously, I don't see myself at blogspot.com, or mu.nu, or any of those such places. Not that I have anything in particular against the better ones, such as blogspot and munu, but I have spent so many months creating my own, one-of-a-kind blogware that I just can't see giving it up, especially since there are still minor improvements/features I look forward to coding soon.

It's like asking a guy who has spent months building a custom hot rod in his garage to give it up and go buy a new Chevy sedan, right when all the hot rod needs is a hood ornament and a few decals. Ain't a damn thing wrong with a new Chevy sedan, IMHO, but I've come this far...

But, Jeff, it's so much more fun for us to let the air out of your hot rod's tires and watch you drive around in an old Ford Pinto, instead! And if you don't behave yourself, we're gonna downgrade you to an orange colored Vega! :-P
