So, like many school aged children, my Nathaniel made a Mother's Day card for me in class. He drew a perfect flower and even colored inside the lines, then wrote in his best penmanship, "HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!"
And then (have you noticed there's always an "and then" with Natie?) as though it was an afterthought, underneath the flower was a pencil-drawn picture of a sword and the words, "I AM NO MAN!".
God, I love that kid.
